ARENA BAUBO proudly post/non/re/present Baubo: the cunt, the myth, the legend

Arena Baubo delves deep into the field of non/representational performance.
Together with theoreticians from varied backgrounds and with varied specialist knowledge we create a platform for discussions about non/representation from different viewpoints and thought traditions.

Invited participants are: Tiina Rosenberg- Professor of Gender Studies and Theatre Studies (Sweden/Finland), Paula Caspau- Dramaturg, Author and Researcher (Portugal), Akseli Virtanen- Economist and Philosopher (Finland).
The different theoretical perspectives are brought into an artistic process in an experiment where a number of authorships and methods are feeding off each other and the audience. The thoughts are applied artistically to the myth of Baubo.

The final POST/NON/RE/PRESENTATION of the project will be a public event Autumn 2012.
A discussion about the consequences of non/representational systems and methods in today's society and art will be paralleled with performative experiences of non/representational processes around the material of the Baubo myth.
